Department of Commerce, International Trade Commission
Delivery Improved global trade data to identify markets for U.S. exports worldwide.
We need highly detailed, global trade data to support U.S. export analysts and trade counselors in over 150 worldwide offices.
The International Trade Administration (ITA) of the Department of Commerce strengthens the competitiveness of U.S. industry, promotes trade and investment, and ensures fair trade through the rigorous enforcement of our trade laws and agreements. ITA procures best-in-class data to provide their five hundred analysts stationed in 70 countries with information to support trade analysis, trade counseling, and market analysis to U.S. businesses exporting their products and services and succeeding in global markets.
To help U.S. exporting businesses succeed in global markets.
ITA required more detailed data to ensure fair trade via rigorous enforcement and strengthen the competitiveness of U.S. industry. They needed to link global company data to trade data to find specific buyers of U.S. goods. Trade Counselors and analysts needed to speed up research to help U.S. Businesses. They wanted a partner who understood the mission as well as the data industry to procure better data with good analytic capabilities.

Each year (five-year contract), the DAR team resolved hundreds of user requests. DAR also provided ten ITA-specific training events across the globe and provided the Program Manager version updates on data improvements, ongoing user and utilization reports and maintained 99.8% uptime.
